Random House was incredibly generous in their donation, sending so many books and in beautiful editions that the students are going to be thrilled to have the opportunity to read.
While we were there, Susan Gilmore was able to sign copies of her book, Looking For Salvation At The Dairy Queen for students, faculty, and staff. This book will be the first book read in the new RHS book club that is being sponsored by Ringgold Reads.
We are grateful not only to Random House, Inc. for the amazing donation, but also to the news outlets who came to cover the donation. The Catoosa County News has published an article which is available on their website covering Ringgold Reads and the generous donations we've received from Random House, Inc., Simon and Schuster, and individuals across the country.
